Recover Fund was chosen to develop Norfolk's first Racial Wealth Equity plan, with a particular emphasis on addressing the wealth disparity that exists within the black community across generations. We have established a research and public engagement platform that is deeply rooted in historical context and dedicated to implementing practical solutions. The Norfolk Wealth Project aims to tackle the underlying factors that contribute to housing disadvantage, limited financial literacy, and inadequate access to banking institutions.
